Keegan Spina, a 17-year-old Washington Township resident, remains missing, authorities said Friday, Aug. 28.
Spira was seen at a SEPTA station platform at 6th and Market Streets in Philadelphia, wearing a light-colored sweatshirt, shorts, backpack, and what appears to be a red/maroon Arizona Diamondbacks knit hat, Washington Township police said. Spira is with Alaric Purcell, a juvenile who has also been reported missing from Camden, police said.

A Capital Region man who beat up a 61-year-old e-bike rider, then tried to smuggle fentanyl into jail has learned his fate.
Keith Hurst, 38, of Albany, got four to six years in prison for a series of crimes, the Albany County District Attorney’s office said Thursday, Aug. 27.
Hurst attacked the electric bike rider on Sept. 27, 2025, around 8 p.m. on Central Avenue, authorities said. He smashed the man in the head with a liquor bottle, then stole the e-bike and fled the area, according to investigators.

A masked man armed with a handgun and machete was arrested after pointing the gun at a driver in Clifton, authorities said.
Eddy Calixto, 47, of Clifton, approached an occupied vehicle near Knapp Avenue and Schoonmaker Place at approximately 2:47 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, Clifton Police Detective Lt. Robert Anderson said.

A Pennsylvania man has been convicted of abusing two children over a period of years, including beating them with belts and household objects and groping them, Attorney General Dave Sunday announced on Thursday, Aug. 27.
Fernando H. Silva, 35, of Lebanon County was found guilty Thursday of all charges following a three-day jury trial, according to the Attorney General's Office.

Montville Man Takes Plea, Faces 18 Months In Prison For Deadly ATV Crash
A Connecticut man has accepted an 18-month prison term in an ATV crash that killed his passenger.
Cecil E. Grimes, 33, of Montville, pleaded guilty to misconduct with a motor vehicle on Aug. 3, court records show. The plea avoided a trial scheduled for this month.
Grimes is set to be sentenced Oct. 13. His five-year sentence will be suspended after he serves 18 months. He will then spend five years on probation, according to The Day.
